Custom Reworked Denim Class
Want to learn how to sustain and visibly mend your jeans? I'm here to help!
How it works:
Schedule a visit to my studio (60-90 minutes) by emailing me with a few options of your availability. General class availability is Wednesday, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10am - 4pm. When your time has been confirmed, I'll follow-up with a google calendar invite.
Gather your favorite pair of jeans (non-stretch, 100% cotton is best) and come on over! We’ll study your garment, select patching material, open seams, stabilize your patch material on my sewing machine, develop a hand-stitching pattern, and start stitching! I’ll send you home equipped with all the tools and supplies you need to develop your personalized patches. Depending on the complexity of your design, Expect to spend anywhere from 4-12 hours working independently on your project.
After you’ve completed your stitching at home (1-3 weeks later), you’ll return to my studio for a second session (60 minutes). We’ll make any final touches on your projects, sew up your seams, and you’ll try on your reworked jeans!

Introductory sewing machine skills
Hand-sewing and repair skills
What you’ll receive:
Hand-selected tools and supplies. Revitalized and reworked, one-of-a-kind denim that YOU personalized. Based on your interests, I'll create a customized guide for sourcing tools, materials, books, and online resources for future project inspiration. Most importantly (in my opinion), you'll develop the skills and creative vision to continue repairing and reworking items in your closet.

$140 (due at the first studio visit)

Do I need to have hand or machine sewing experience?
Nope. This class is catered to YOU--your goals and your garment. All experience levels are welcome.
Can I do this class with a friend?
YES! This class is available to up to 3 people at a time. If you're scheduling as a group, please note this in your initial email.
What if I have questions or run into issues as I work on my project?
I will share my phone number and will be available for text consults and general cheerleading as you progress.
Do I have to work with denim?
No! If you have another material in mind, please let me know. Cotton, linen, and wool are all great options.
